As a recipient of Sport England funding, Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent (SASSOT) is required to comply with Tier Three of A Code of Sports Governance, which includes publicly disclosing information on our governance, structure, strategy, activities and financial position. Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent is led by its Board. The Board sets SASSOT’s strategic direction, and is the organisation’s ultimate decision-making body.
The Board is made up of between seven and twelve members, who serve on a voluntary basis, receiving no remuneration (other than reasonable expenses). These Board members bring a wide-ranging set of skills, experience and knowledge, ensuring that the organisation is governed effectively. All Board members complete a Declaration of Good Character and sign up to a Code of Conduct.
