Through the FIFA Women’s World Cup Innovation Fund, Staffordshire Football Association are inviting local deliverers to apply for funding to increase the number of women playing football.

 


Utilising Football to engage Female Offenders (Youth OR Adult)

Funding Opportunity

 

As part of the Staffordshire FA Innovation Fund Programme, Staffordshire FA are looking to fund Female specific sessions to provide opportunities for young offenders and/or prisons to tackle ASB and crime rates.

The sessions will be funded £250 for a minimum of 6 weeks. These sessions should aim to be sustainable, with the intent to join the FA Mars Just Play Programme following 6 weeks to sustain their engagement.

The sessions should be aimed to target YOTs, Prisons, PRU’s, SPACE and/or other communities/organisations providing accesible football opportunities in a safe and inclusive environment, to support the reduction of inactivity and crime rates within females of any age.

Each session must engage a minimum of 10 participants across a 6 week period, providing weekly recreational opportunity for females to participate in Football related Activity.

You will be responsible for organising the delivery with our support, and your insurance must cover this activity – Lead Coaches MUST have FA CRC, FA Safeguarding, FA Emergency Aid and FA Level One as a minimum

Activity must start no later than 17th June 2019, and 6 weeks worth of delivery must be complete by 1st August 2019.

Please note: The FIFA Womens World Cup starts on 7th June, and could be a great opportunity to support the promotion of your sessions.

Staffordshire FA will be reviewing all applications weekly, and you will notified within 7 days of submitting you application. A Service Level Agreement provided by the Staffordshire FA, must be agreed and signed prior to starting delivery.

Engaging Female Refugees and Asylum Seekers through Football

The sessions will be funded £250 for a minimum of 6 weeks. These sessions should aim to be sustainable, with the intent to join the FA Mars Just Play Programme following 6 weeks.

The sessions should be aimed to target local communities providing accesible football opportunities in a safe and inclusive environment, and support the reduction of inactivity within females of any age, however participants must be 16+.

Women’s Walking Football Fund

 

Funding Opportunity

 

As part of the Staffordshire FA Innovation Fund Programme, Staffordshire FA are looking to fund Women’s specific Walking Football Sessions.

The sessions will be funded £200 for a minimum of 6 weeks. These sessions should aim to be sustainable, with the intent to join the FA Mars Just Play Programme following 6 weeks.

The sessions should be aimed to target inactivity within females of any age, however must be 16+, and the sessions must be community based.

You must engage a minimum of 16 participants across a 6 week period, providing weekly recreational opportunity for females to participate in Walking Football Activity.

Activity must start no later than 17th June 2019, and 6 weeks-worth of delivery must be complete by 1st August 2019.

Please note: The FIFA Womens World Cup starts on 7th June, and could be a great opportunity to support the promotion of your sessions.

SSE Wildcats Schools Participation Programme (FIFAWWC themed)

 

Funding Opportunity

As part of the Staffordshire FA Innovation Fund Programme, Staffordshire FA are looking to fund a number of delivery partners to deliver girls football opportunity within primary schools to support the SSE Wildcats Programme. You can apply for up to 4 schools, of which each must receive a minimum of 6 weeks worth of football activity either during curriculum time or extra curricular.

For each school you will receive £75 worth of funding. e.g. 1 School = £75, 2 Schools = £150, 3 Schools= £225,  4 Schools = £300

The sessions should be aimed to target schools which currently offer no female football, to allow successful promotion of the SSE Wildcats Girls Football Centre Programme to support the increase of attendances at sessions. You are able to promote your own SSE Wildcats Centre.

You will be responsible for organising the school delivery, and your insurance must cover this activity – Lead Coaches MUST have FA CRC, FA Safeguarding, FA Emergency Aid and FA Level One as a minimum.

You must engage a minimum of 16 participants at each school, providing weekly sessions for girls aged 5-11, for a minimum of 6 weeks. You should use your SSE Wildcats Branded equipment to deliver these sessions.

Activity must start no later than 10th June 2019, and 6 weeks worth of delivery must be complete by 19th July 2019.

FIFA Women’s World Cup – Schools Support Package

 

Funding Opportunity

 

We are looking for Schools and Organisations to deliver activity to help promote football activity to inspire more girls to get involved in football. The activity must be delivered between now and the end of the current school year and must be FIFA Women’s World Cup Themed.

For this we have a 3 Tiered Package to support:

 

Tier One – For Schools / Organisations looking to target 1-50 girls.

2) £100 to support delivery to include the purchase of goodies, venue hire or medals/ certificates.

3) 150 x SSE Wildcats information packs/flyers for your local community football activity

 

 

Tier Three – For Schools/ Organisations looking to target 151 + girls

Brought to you by The Football Association in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust, the site includes exciting new Women’s World Cup 2019 schools’ education resources to engage and inspire young people.

4) Where possible CFA staff support on the day of the event.

 

Please note Tier 2 & Tier 3 are subject to budget and therefore will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
