Parkinson’s UK – Free Awareness Training for Activity Leaders and Instructors
On 1st August 2019, Parkinson’s UK are running a free awareness training day for Activity Leaders and Instructors.
Location: The Westmead Hotel, B48 7AL
If you have little or no knowledge of Parkinson’s – this is for you – a mix of information and practical sessions. On completion you’ll receive a certificate of attendance and a listing on the website.

A mix of practical examples and information. The session includes:
- Top tips when running activities which include people with Parkinson’s
- Common physical issues and types of exercises which best target those issues
- Planning an exercise programme for one to one and in groups
