New Year 2019 Netball

Friday 14th December 2018

January; a time for new trainers and resolutions, making new friends and doing something for you. So this New Year, why not try something new? There are so many opportunities in netball, whether you want to try the walking version of our game or are looking to return to the court after years out, we have something to suit you.

Back to Netball sessions

Back to Netball sessions provide women and girls (aged 16+) with a gentle re-introduction to the sport. Run by enthusiastic coaches, sessions cover the basics of the game including passing, footwork and shooting.  Sessions finish with a friendly game to put the skills you have learnt into practice.

All sessions start week commencing 7th January, unless otherwise stated

Walking Netball sessions

General health and well-being can make a big difference to someone’s quality of life, whatever their age. Eating well and keeping fit are important. Someone might be recovering from injury or just getting older, but it’s important they are as active as they can be. Regular physical activity will help maintain strength, flexibility and energy levels.

Walking Netball is ideal as someone can start gently and build up gradually, aiming to do a little more each session. People who take part in Walking Netball will see many benefits: lower heart rate and blood pressure, less fat and more muscle, and better mobility.

All sessions start week commencing 7th January, unless stated otherwise
