City Programme Manager

Reporting to: Head of National Programmes
Team: National Programmes
Location: Flexible with national travel
Term: 2-year Fixed Term

What you’ll be doing:

  • Inducting a brand-new team into the business.
  • Developing All Stars Cricket local delivery plans including supporting the development of any local funding bids.
  • Translating the All Stars Cricket marketing plan across the city-based locations and identifying relevant ways to talk to our target audience.
  • Supporting staff to maximise volunteer recruitment and engagement.
  •  Motivating the team through a busy delivery period.
  • Developing a strategy to train and deploy engaged volunteers across the cities, and empowering staff to deliver.
  • Managing all monitoring and evaluation pertaining to the project.
  • Managing local delivery budgets.

City Programme Executive

Location: Birmingham, Bradford, Leeds, Leicester, London x 2, Manchester, Nottingham
Term: 2 year Fixed Term
Closing date: Sunday 9th December 2018

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing an impactful programme of All Stars Cricket activity in your city. All Stars Cricket is the England and Wales Cricket Board’s entry level participation programme, aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket.  For more information and to see what All Stars Cricket is all about, head to the website here.
  • Marketing All Stars activity and volunteering opportunities across your city.
  • Recruiting volunteers to support activity.
  • Managing and delivering and/or supporting volunteers to deliver All Stars Cricket activity, with a focus on getting mums involved.
  • In 2019, the Cricket World Cup is taking place across England and Wales – Using the World Cup to inspire and engage new volunteers.
  • Running volunteer training and finding opportunities for women who want to keep doing so.
  • Regularly reporting on the success of the project in your city.
