Alistair’s career began in Greater Manchester starting in leisure management before moving into sports development. After working closely with NHS commissioners and provider trusts on a number of physical activity interventions Alistair took up a role in Public Health focused on obesity prevention and treatment. Since 2013 he has worked at Stoke-on-Trent City Council at a strategic level across Health and now Leisure with partners at a local, regional and national level with a focus on increasing population health whilst tackling health inequalities.
