School Games Summer Festival 2018- Event and Media Volunteers Needed!

The School Games Summer Festival will see over 2000 young people come together across the County to compete in Netball, Tag Rugby, Tri Golf, Trampolining, Cross Country, Rounders, Boccia, New Age Kurling, Seated Volleyball and Goalball.

We are currently looking for volunteers age 16+ to help with the following 2 roles:

Event Volunteer- As an event volunteer you will help with set up and pack down of branding, support with car park marshalling, distribution of lunches and drinks, support with medal presentations and support the different sports with any needs they may have.

Media Volunteer- As a media volunteer you would be a mentor to younger media volunteers and support them in reporting on various competitions and this may involve holding short interviews and taking photographs.

You will need to attend a training session  before the event to go through the details of the day and your role.

The training session will be on:

You will receive a free t-shirt, packed lunch, certificate and will also get a 1-2-1 meeting with the sports VIP on the day (previous years have included Olympic gold medallist and ‘I’m a Celebrity’ star Sam Quek) for a chance of a photo and autograph.
