Eddie Jones hosted his first ever live coaching session this month, with viewers able to watch live and interact on England Rugby’s Facebook page

So far Game Changers Live has reached over 340,000, giving coaches across the country the chance to learn from England’s head coach.

“The way people want to access coaching development is changing,” said Coach Development Manager, Nick Scott.

“This was an opportunity to reach a huge audience of coaches and give them the chance to learn from the best.”

Jones led the session at Pennyhill Park with a group of players from Brighton College, taking questions throughout from fans on Facebook.

The coaching session saw players take part in a game scenario, led by Jones, as well as a skill zone where Jones and England U18 coach Russell Earnshaw will focus on coaching individual skills.

“It’s always fun coaching kids because there is so much room for improvement,” said Jones.

“There were some excellent questions and it was an opportunity to learn which is great because I think as a coach in rugby it’s important to find your own way.”

The video has been viewed over 76,000 times so far and gave an insight into Jones’ approach to coaching ahead of the Old Mutual Wealth Series.
