British Gymnastics – Teachers’ Intermediate Gymnastics Primary Course 17th January 2018
Bee Active have teamed up with British Gymnastics and we have a few additional places remaining for the following course on Wednesday the 17th January 8:00am – 4:30pm at St Wulstan’s Catholic Primary School, ST5 0EF. This course will qualify you to teach gymnastics within a primary school environment.
Gymnastics is a great way for schools to get involved with sports, either as part of the existing National Curriculum or through after school clubs. You will learn how to support participants in fun floor skills, and acrobatics and rhythmic elements.
You will focus on setting up a school club, body management and the importance of safety.
Who is this Aimed at:
Teachers, teaching assistants and other adults employed by the school who wish to improve their understanding and ability to deliver gymnastics in a primary school environment
What To Expect:
An informative course to provide learners with the confidence to deliver quality gymnastics sessions during curriculum time and in an afterschool club environment.
Eight hours practical based.

Course specific resource pack.
1 -3 people £160 per person
3 – 6 people £155 per person
6 – 9 people £150 per person
- Build confidence in your approach to gymnastics
- Develop the necessary skills required to teach set moves
- Give you the ability to incorporate apparatus and sequencing into lessons
- Help you to understand and underpin good body management
- Teach you how to identify and remedy common faults
